On February 5th, four Volunteers of Distinction were honored at our Volunteer Gathering. These four volunteers have dedicated so much time and effort to outreach, monitoring, and other tasks over their time with the District, and we were glad to recognize their efforts.

They do a wide variety of work in their volunteer service, including planning education programs, staffing tables at outreach events, and even taking water samples to help monitor water quality. Each of these volunteers contributes a great deal to the District’s programming and citizen monitoring.
