Plans and Reports

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District, through the efforts of its staff, board, advisory committees, consulting engineers, and community stakeholders, has produced plans and reports to guide its activities.

Water Management Plan (2017-2027)

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District Management Plan sets the vision, guidelines, and proposed tasks for managing surface water within the boundaries of the NMCWD. The District’s current plan was adopted in October 2017 and amended in April 2018, April 2019, and September 2023.

Annual Reports

The District prepares an annual report of its yearly activities and projects, its permitting program, and its goals and objectives for the next year, consistent with its statutory and regulatory obligations under Minn. Stat. § 103D.351 and Minnesota Rules § 8410.0150.

Monitoring Reports

The District’s lake and creek monitoring program collects water quality data from waterbodies across the watershed. The District monitors the water quality of Nine Mile Creek annually and of its major lakes on a rotating basis. The data is summarized in an annual report.
