Our Board of Managers

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is guided by a five-member Board of Managers. The managers are appointed by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners to three-year terms, and direct the activities of the District.

Board Openings

There will be two vacancies on the Board due to expiration of term of office for Grace Butler and Larry Olson.Β  Both Mr. Olson and Ms. Butler have indicated they intend to seek reappointment. Applications closed on August 12, 2022 with interviews scheduled to be played during the County Administration, Libraries and Budget Committee meeting on August 23, 2022.

Board Meetings

The Board of Managers meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM.Β  Regular board meetings and workshops will occur in person at the District office starting on July 20th. Currently, no virtual options for attendance are available. You can find the link on each agenda, or in the event on our upcoming events page. Meetings are open to the public; masks are optional.
