Water Management Plan
The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District Management Plan sets the vision, guidelines, and proposed tasks for managing surface water within the boundaries of the NMCWD.
Required by law, the District’s current Plan was adopted in March 2007, with the next generation plan due December 31, 2017. BWSR (the Minnesota Board of Water & Soil Resources) granted the District a plan extension on January 25, 2017. The Plan is prepared in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 103D and 103B.231, and Minnesota Rules 8410.
On 3/15/17, the NMCWD Board approved a draft Plan for a required 60-day public review period. Comments are due by 5/15/17. Learn more
