Herbicide Treatment on Lake Cornelia

Curly-lead Pondweed
Curly-leaf Pondweed

An herbicide treatment with Endothall in Lake Cornelia is scheduled for April 18th. The herbicide treatment will target curly-leaf pondweed an invasive aquatic plant that makes it difficult for native plants to survive and can affect water quality. The herbicide Endothall was chosen for this herbicide treatment.

A licensed contractor has been hired to complete the herbicide treatment, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has reviewed the treatment plan and issued a permit for the herbicide treatment.
