In late September, Larry Olson was appointed as the newest Board Manager for the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District. As an Edina resident, Manager Olson helped create the Lake Cornelia lake group. In that group, he serves as a director working with the City of Edina, DNR, and watershed district leaders to improve Lake Cornelia’s water quality. He is also finishing up the last months serving a six-year term on the Edina Transportation Commission. We are happy to welcome Manager Olson to our Board.

 

We are also happy to have Manager Sheely reappointed to our Board. This marks her second term on the Board.

About the Board

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is guided by a five-member Board of Managers. The managers are appointed by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners to three-year terms, and direct the activities of the District. The Board of Managers meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the District’s office, Nine Mile Creek Discovery Point (12800 Gerard Dr., Eden Prairie), unless otherwise noted.
