Habitat Restoration Grants Available Now

Do you want to restore native plant habitat? Are you interested in protecting pollinators? Apply for a habitat restoration grant for a project within the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District to restore native plant and wildlife habitat. Grants are reimbursed for up to 50% of a project’s cost for materials and installation. There are two application deadlines in 2021: July 22 and October 21. For the best chance at receiving grant funding, you are encouraged to apply by the first deadline.

Maximum grant award:

• $3,000 for residential projects
• $5,000 for townhome, condominium, or lake associations
• $10,000 for commercial, government, or nonprofit projects
