Help prevent floods

With all the rain in the forecast this week, it is a good idea to try and clear out the stormdrains on your street. The snow and ice covering the grates can lead to localized flooding. Please be cautious while you are out in the street.

Contact your city if you are unable to clear a blocked stormdrain.

Adopt a drain

While you’re at it, why don’t you pledge to adopt that drain for the whole year? Keeping drains free of sticks, leaves, grass clippings and trash is a great way to help keep your lakes and creeks healthy.
