Who should attend?
Contractors, staff and volunteers who maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
Participants who pass the optional test can earn the MPCA Smart Salting for Parking Lots and Sidewalks Certification. Certified individuals are listed on the MPCA training website here: pca.state.mn.us/water/smart-salting-training. Training presented by Fortin Consulting, Inc.
Funding for the training is provided by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency through a grant from the U.S. EPA, Section 319 Nonpoint Source Management Fund.
