Join entomologist and soil health evaluator, Dr. Ann Marie Journey, to learn about soil ecology in the urban environment. Find out what actions you can take to build healthier soils at home, support farmers using soil health practices to grow our food, and more. This workshop includes two components:

  • A collection of reading material, videos and websites to help participants start learning about the topic; this list will be provided to registrants prior to the workshop.
  • An in-person workshop, including presentation, Q&A and small-group discussion.

This event is brought to you by Ridgedale Library in partnership with the City of Minnetonka, Nine Mile Creek Watershed District, and Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District. Find a list of books and other resources at Power of Soil.
