WHY IS BUCKTHORN BAD?

Buckthorn is an invasive plant that creates a dense thicket in forests. It shades out native plants and has little value to wildlife. Fall is the best time to tackle buckthorn removal; as it keeps its leaves long into the fall, it is much easier to identify, being the only spot of green left. More information>
