Welcome Cynthia!

Cynthia provides administrative and day-to-day operations support for the District, which includes greeting visitors to Discovery Point and providing some communications and outreach support.

Cynthia graduated from University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a B.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology. She has spent time at the DNR and MPCA where she worked as an AIS Watercraft inspector intern, Fort Snelling State Park Associate, DNR Office administrator, and collecting water quality samples in greater Minnesota with the MPCA.  She also works at Reef On, where she occasionally helps with the Scheel’s aquarium by diving in to feed the fish and provide maintenance.  Cynthia enjoys many things in life, to name a few; she loves foraging, gardening, traveling, rock climbing, scuba diving, and spending time with her partner and tiny dog!
