Normandale Lake is a shallow, constructed lake in Bloomington. Although not on the state’s impaired waters list, Normandale Lake has historically had phosphorous levels higher than the state standard for shallow lakes. The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District conducted studies to assess the health of Normandale Lake and to identify projects that could improve the lake’s overall health.
