Master Gardener May Lee helps third graders learn about growing native plant seeds. With a few months of “cold stratification” in a refrigerator, plants like milkweed will sprout once planted. Growing a garden is a great way to get kids involved in nature and food! Here at Discovery Point, we’re doing our own seed sowing experiments–using homemade greenhouses, and winter sowing. Check back in a month or so for the results.
