The results are here! See what residents shared in the 10-Year Management Plan public survey.

Earlier this year we asked for input from those who live, work and play in our watershed. By learning about what people value in the watershed, we could draft a better ten year water management plan. Our board of managers asked for many different viewpoints to help them craft a better plan that represents more people throughout our watershed.

To that end, we created a survey and map comment tool, which was open from July through September 2025. The results of those tools are now available. Thank you to all those who gave feedback and left comments.

Findings

While this survey and resulting analysis is not intended to be statistically significant, some common themes emerged from respondents. Overall, we received 238 surveys and 44 map comments. Responses reflected a strong community commitment to clean water, healthy ecosystems, conservation and restoration, equitable access to natural areas, and climate resilience.

How this input will be used

The results were presented to the board of managers at the November 19th regular meeting. The managers will take more time to process the responses and use them when drafting the ten year water management plan throughout 2026.
