Learn how to harvest and grow native flowers from seed

Description: District staff started a seed propagation experiment in the seed lab of the Discovery Point greenhouse. We had some successes and some failures, and we want to share those with you! We will talk about our process, what worked and what didn’t, starting from harvesting the seeds from our landscape, all the way to getting the seeds to grow and where we planted them. Hopefully, this will inspire you to grow plants from your own seeds too! We will also highlight other opportunities and resources to increase your knowledge of native plants and seed heads.
