Using salt wisely at our places of worship and non-profit organizations!

November 14th at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church

(Please note: Both sessions are the same. You only need to register for one.)

This non-denominational Smart Salting training is geared towards those who use or buy deicing salt at places of worship. Clergy, maintenance staff, secretaries, and others can learn the basics of using salt wisely. This interfaith initiative aims to help places of worship build community, save money, and protect the environment while still keeping worshippers safe.

Light, kosher snacks will be served. Presentation includes a short, hands-on activity outside.

This program presented thanks to the help of the Nine Mile Creek, Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek, and Minnehaha Creek Watershed Districts, Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission, and the City of Minnetonka.
