This 4 ½  hour training will teach attendees how to use a new, web-based assessment tool (WMAt). The training also explains the steps required for your organization to become Level 2 MPCA certified. The class gives maintenance leaders time away from their busy schedule in order to better understand how to use the WMAt.  The training classes are small, with ample help available to ensure you have a positive training experience.

The WMAt allows organizations to review their past, present and future winter maintenance practices. The maintenance practices are color-coded to show which practices can help you come more efficient and reduce salt use.  You will be able to use the tool to create a series of reports. These reports can be used for internal training and budgeting, as well as for communicating with public officials or others involved in the funding of maintenance work.

Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please bring a laptop to work on during class. Let us know in your registration if you have special dietary needs, or do not have a laptop.  Email Gael at gzembal@ninemilecreek.org with questions or concerns.

Training presented by Fortin Consulting, Inc. Funding for this workshop is provided by MPCA through a grant from US EPA, Section 319 Nonpoint Source Management Fund.
